Since joining the firm,
what I'm most proud of is the growth of our employees,
which is a great sign that we're building the right culture,
and the growth of our clients.
Our clients are not only staying with us,
but they continue to add more and more assets to the
relationship as they see us as their primary advice giver.
Since I've been at SAM,
leadership has given me a really long
leash to grow my own responsibilities.
As the firm has grown in complexity and assets,
I've been able to grow alongside with it and build
my expertise in different parts of the industry,
as well as different financial products and
strategies that we use to benefit our clients.
If you're looking to work at SAM,
one piece of advice I would give you is just to be yourself.
Everyone here is different.
They come from diverse backgrounds,
and we're a very open and welcome culture,
and we really appreciate everyone's unique qualities.

where we actually start first with the clients.
What are your goals,
and what are your levels of risk tolerance and long-term goals?
And then we create a tailored investment approach
for that across 10 different investment strategies.
We get to the solution together,
and it's a great partnership.
I'm proud of how we built that.
The thing I'm most proud of since I've been at
SAM hasn't really been a personal achievement,
but more watching the growth of my
colleagues as they come in as juniors,
and they grow and are now part of the management team.
Since I've been with the firm,
I started as a client service manager on a team of two,
and now I'm a senior operations manager
of a team with five other associates,
so I've been able to develop my manager skills.
What I enjoy most about working here,
I would say,
is the people.
I think the people are really what
makes a business and a company special,
and if you have people that you enjoy working with,
collaborating with,
I think it just is a great component
to what can be a successful business.
I think if the firm was a movie,
maybe it would be the Avengers because
we have such a great team here.
It would have to be a sports-related movie
because we are very competitive and focused
on the goal,
but there might be some humor in there too,
so I would say maybe Happy Gilmore as a golf movie,
maybe Dodgeball.
It would be It's a Wonderful Life.
I think there's a lot of good values and stories to draw from it.
It's not always easy,
but in the end,
you're doing the right thing for the right reason,
and that's really what SAM is about.
If you're considering working at this firm,
I think you should be ready to work hard,
but also have fun doing it and know
that you're going to have the full support
of your team members while doing it.
I enjoy a lot of things about working at
SAM. I would say top couple are the people,
the culture, and the flexibility.
The people make or break a job,
and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
