Introduction to Stansberry Asset Management (SAM)

Hello and welcome to Stansberry Asset Management, or SAM as we like to call it. I'm Austin Root and I'm the Chief Investment Officer at SAM. I'm responsible for leading our investment team that manages all our separate and distinct portfolio strategies. I'm honored to be able to tell you a bit more about our group and what makes us so unique. At SAM, we believe that clients like you are best served when both your investment strategy and your wealth management are purpose-driven and aligned to your goals. That's why we deliver something that over the last 30 years has unfortunately become harder and harder for people to find in the marketplace. Specifically, it means that we marry informed, active, sophisticated investment management with holistic financial and wealth planning. You see, all too often, firms in the investment industry focus on one or the other. They're either stock and bond pickers, building investment portfolios, but with no real connection to you, the end client. Or they're wealth advisors that help you build a financial plan, but have little or no role in determining how your wealth is actually being invested. We do both, and we strive to do both extremely well to deliver industry leading expertise and advice to guide you to success in achieving your long-term financial goals.
